After more than a year in development, Stührling Original proudly unveils its latest entry into the skeleton mechanical-automatic timepiece kingdom…Nemo. From land to ocean, this new timepiece from the Adventurer Series in the Lifestyle Collection has no boundaries! Inspired by expeditions at sea, Nemo unites classic and robust features to create a masculine yet fashionable utopian watch for the adventurer in every man. Stuhrling Original now takes it a step farther by developing a “sequel” to that timepiece. The result: the Nemo MC. Ultra-modern and urbane, the octagonal-shaped case is made from the highest quality of 316L surgical grade stainless steel; and the brushed satin-finish bezel affixed to the case conjures up notions of portholes on a luxury cruise ship or even an underwater sea going vessel. While it shares many of its predecessor’s intricate details, the Nemo MC goes above and beyond with complications all its own. This watch is equipped with a skeletonized Master Calendar movement! It includes a four piece dial displaying the Day-of-the-week (sub-dial at nine o’clock), Date (sub-dial at three o’clock), and Month (sub-dial at twelve o’clock), and that’s not all! The Nemo Mc also features a separate 24-hour hand (sub-dial at six o’clock). This magnificent timepiece has recessed pushers to control the calendar functions. Furthering the miniaturization of Nemo, are the semi skeletonized hands which have been filled with Super Luminova™ for ease of reading in low light. The deep-dish styling of Nemo has been clarified with an angled flange sporting a traditional minute and second track. Safeguarding the pioneering design of the four-piece skeletonized dial are tinted Krysterna™ crystals on both the front and back. Framing that tinted window is the burly octagonal-shaped bezel. The hefty yet stylish bezel is made from solid surgical-grade stainless steel and has been conjoined to the case scientifically and features decorative pinheads with slotting that forms an “S” to represent and authenticate Stührling Original as the maker of Nemo! The brushed satin finish on the topside and the outside wall of the bezel makes for a striking contrast to the high-polished finish of its inner and outer beveled edges. As a complement to the baronial bezel, the knurled edge crown features the identical finish. On the flipside, Nemo is equally as stunning. The attractive screw-down exhibition case-back is secured with eight micro-screws and also boasts a dual satin/polish finish. Through the “looking-glass” the glorious 20-jewel self-winding mechanical movement with rotor are brilliantly skeletonized and decorated with hand engraving and blued steel screws for all to see. You will love to take Nemo off your wrist and show the underside to your friends! The final attention grabber is the comfortable tapered leather strap which complete the subterranean look perfectly.
